A Light Filled Australian Beach House

Blonde timber tones create warmth in this relaxed beach house.

A beautiful light-filled beach house … smooth floorboards underfoot,
honey wood contrasting with off white walls,
minimal modern furnishings with mid-century influences …

Art Filled Beach House

An art collection evolves over time.

This airy art-filled house owned by Leanne Citrone and her husband, is a testament to the art of decorating a house around an art collection, and not the other way around. The couple started collecting art slowly, starting with a beach scene by Massimo Vitali, and seeked the help of designer Lauren Soloff to bring their collection together in a coherent manner. The rooms were kept neutral: with lost of natural colors and textures: ivory linen, jute, tan leather, sheepskin, organic wood. This allowed the art to truly stand out. Each piece in the house was chosen carefully and as such, the design evolved organically over a period of years.

A Modern Mid Century Beach House

An Australian Coastal Retreat

This relaxed, family holiday home has a modern, mid century feel to it. It boasts four bedrooms, three bathrooms and is only five minutes walk to the beach. A few of it's standout features are the innovative kitchen splashback tiling, the timber batten screen and the wide timber beachy looking floorboards.

A Beach Bungalow in France

Loving this pretty, coastal retreat.

When Constance and Dorian bought this house near Biarritz, France, in 2006 it was in ruin. There were only three walls left and an extensive renovation, which lasted about eight years, was necessary to turn the 1940′s house into a warm and cosy family home. Constance drew inspiration from the white houses in Greece. Rattan accessories, light wood and sheepskins give the decor a Scandinavian look and feel. The pastel accent colors give a feminine touch. Just lovely!

A Modern Coastal Christmas

Loving this low key coastal Christmas style

This once dated coastal home has undergone an eight month renovation, and is now a fresh beachy family getaway … painted white with white-washed oak floorboards and modern furnishings, it has that perfect relaxed weekender vibe.
