Light, fresh looking, honey toned woods are still on-trend this season. Finishes are both textured and rustic or smooth and sleek. Take your pick. Matte or low sheen is the way to go. Choose waxed and oiled finishes if you are after a more natural look. Team blonde timbers with plenty of white, soft greys and low key neutrals for a modern beach house look with a nod towards Scandinavian design. Make sure theres plenty of natural light for a bright, airy feel.
